Monorail Trip

The kids have mentioned to me that they've never ridden a "real" train before. So we took a trip on the monorail as part of our celebration of Emily's birthday, at her request.

There's the monorail track overhead.

We drove down to Shuri and walked to the station.

Buying our tickets.

It's coming!

So exciting to be on the train.

They got a monorail map.

We saw lots of new sights from the train.

Coming to another station.

Here's a look at some passengers riding with us.  The train was pretty quiet, except for our kids.

A man riding the monorail gave Jacob thse two origami frogs.

Another station there on the right.

Nicole got a little restless.

Breaking out the snacks for Nicole.

Endless fun on the train.

We got off the train at the airport.

I love the traditional conductor's uniform.

We got to see the track switch from one side to the other before the next train came.

Pure cuteness.  She was happier after some time to walk around outside.

After we got off the train, we passed a park on our "shortcut" back to the car.
